I had an amazing time staying in Porto Santo Destination hostel! It was so calm and quiet, perfect space to wind down and especially during low season you get the ultimate perk of having basically no people at the beaches ;) Sofia the host was super friendly and helpful... couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Nice kitchen and facilities! Just keep in mind that you have to do groceries etc in the centre, as there's only a small restaurant around (which is cheap and good though). And it's a different island than Madeira itself, not everyone may know this ;)

Nastanitev Jaca Hostel Porto da Cruz je v mestu Porto da Cruz, le nekaj korakov od znamenitosti Plaža Praia da Alagoa in 1 min hoje od znamenitosti Plaža Praia da Maiata, ter ponuja vrt, skupni... The location was perfect, the living room was really nice. The pizza night and burger night were perfect for meeting new people. I had to work some days and the wifi was good enough for some video calls. I am very sad that i had to leave.

Nastanitev Modern & Recycled Guest House je v mestu Machico, 2 min hoje od znamenitosti Plaža Praia de São Roque, in ponuja pogled na mesto. Everything was superb! The location is near the beach, with plenty of nive restaurants nearby. The rooms were big and full of natural light. The common space was well organized, and equipped.

Located in Funchal and with Marina do Funchal reachable within 2 km, FX Pena provides a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. Great hostel with great accommodations. The room was perfect and spacious. The shared bathroom and kitchen are really good and the space outside is really nice for having a drink at the end of the day.

Located within a traditional and historical building in Funchal old town, Santa Maria Hostel is a boutique hostel featuring a vintage-style décor. The location of the hostel is very good and central, the hostel is located in one of the bussiest streets full of restaurants, and just a couple of minutes from the sea. The hostel itself is cozy and the kitchen is suitable for cooking. I also was lucky to meet a lot of cool people there! Christina, the manager of the hostel and the receptionist, was the best, really. She was very friendly and helpful ever since I started my trip there, but she also did everything in one “emergency” situation once my and my friend’s flights were cancelled and we didn’t have a place to stay for the extra four nights. Even though theorically the hostel was fully booked, she manage to find a cancellation and gave us a room. She was trully a very caring and helpful person which I was very happy about! The other person in the hostel’s reception was also very nice.

Nastanitev Casa De Cha Prazeres se nahaja v mestu Prazeres, 25 km od znamenitosti naravni bazeni Porto Moniz, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje ter teraso. Friendly owner, good parking, nice clean rooms. Breakfast was a bit of a surprise, even if the offer was not big, everything was good.
